Say Hello to Sophie the Fox!
Sophie is a small, bright-eyed, endlessly curious little fox who's just trotted into Belfast, and she's already made herself at home. She loves puddles after the rain, songs you can't help but dance to, wild questions about the world, and making new friends wherever she goes.
She's popping up in books, in songs, on screen, and at fun little events all over the city. And everywhere she goes, she brings the same message wrapped in a big playful hug: take care of nature, take care of each other, and never stop wondering.
So who is Sophie, really?
She's a bit of a dreamer and a big-time thinker, but mostly she's just a fox who loves life!
Sophie skips through forests, chats with birds, asks the biggest questions with the smallest words, and somehow always ends up teaching a little lesson about kindness along the way, without ever sounding like she's teaching anything at all.
Where you'll find Sophie in Belfast
Songs — Catchy, colourful little tunes about hope, friendship, and looking after our planet. The kind kids hum in the car and parents end up humming too.
Books — Cosy stories perfect for bedtime, full of forests, friendship, and gentle little adventures that spark big imaginations.
A TV series — Sophie's animated adventures, bursting with colour and warmth, made for kids but sneaky enough to charm the grown-ups watching too.
Events around town — Sing-alongs, shows, school visits, and pop-up surprises! Keep your eyes peeled around Belfast, Sophie loves showing up where you least expect her.
Why a fox, why now?
Because the best ideas are simple ones, and Sophie believes the biggest changes in the world start with the smallest people.
A greener, kinder, gentler future isn't something far away, it's something we get to plant right now, one story, one song, one giggle at a time.
Come join the adventure!
Sophie's just getting started in Belfast, and there's plenty of room on this journey for curious kids, playful families, and anyone who still believes in a bit of wonder. Sing along, read along, and keep watching this space, because Sophie's next adventure might just be around the corner!
A better world starts small, and it starts with a smile.
